HOW IT WORKS

The revolutionary patented and certified Wastop inline check valve can be installed in minutes in a pipeline or chamber. It can be installed either horizontally or vertically and either at an inlet or outlet. WaStop can be installed to prevent back flow in all cases.

Flow in the normal direction causes a slight pressure buildup against the membrane which in turn causes the membrane to open just enough to allow the flow to pass unhindered. When back flow occurs the membrane fills with water or gas and acts as a stopper blocking all back flow in the pipe or drain. WaStop check valve can be designed to withstand up to 12 meters back pressure.

​​WASTOP PVC/PE RANGE

WaStop PVC range is primarily used in sewer and odour applications.  The PVC range is installed inline with the existing pipes using flexible couplings or slide couplings. WaStop PVC range is available from DN75mm (NPS 3″) up to DN 200mm (NPS 8″).  For dimensions over this size PE or Stainless is recommended.

Keeping in line with our customer promise of common sense and simplicity, we have developed a standard range of WaStop from NPS 3” - 80”.

On top of this we have a Superior Fit Seal to ensure there is no leakage between the existing pipe and the WaStop Inline Check Valve. We designed this seal to not only create the perfect fit, but also to ensure quick easy installation. Time is money.
All sizes are available in short versions or with flanges and can be customized to suit your needs.

All WaStop standard valves are reversible for inlet or outlet installation and are able to be used vertically as well as horizontally.

Wastop excels at preventing back flow, flooding, and sewage odor spread in pipe networks. It can be inserted into almost any existing pipe. Unlike any other check valve available today, Wastop® can be mounted horizontally, vertically, on an inlet, outlet, in a chamber, or utilizing flanges. Installation is a breeze!

For over 14 years Wastop has been leading with the lowest head loss in the industry. The secret to Wastop®’s effectiveness is its specialized Memory Membrane, inserted inside either stainless steel or pvc pipes depending on the application. The Memory Membrane is constructed of a specially formulated blend of elastomer which gives it exceptional shape retention and chemical resistance. This ensures Wastop® always opens when needed, but then immediately seals to prevent back flow.


WaStop Stainless Steel series can be used in sewer and storm/surface water applications as well as for stopping odor escaping from combined sewers.  The stainless steel series is a complete range from 4" - 96".  The WaStop Stainless range fits inside the existing pipe.  For more information regarding installation please see below.
