WaFlap comes in several different solutions, to meet your needs. WaFlap flap valves are used in the following situations:  

To prevent backflow to pumping stations in the event of high flows in the watercourse  
For emergency shutdown on roads. The flap check valve is then fitted with a hook and chain. The flap check valve is fitted on an outgoing pipe in a chamber, and must be in the open position. When an accident occurs the chain is released and the flap closes. This is to prevent environmentally hazardous substances from spreading to water sources

WaFlap flap valves are fitted on a flat surface, on pipe protrusions or internally on an outlet in a watercourse or on an incoming pipe in a chamber.
