The Compound Lever Air Release Valve is used for higher capacity applications where a larger valve and double lever are needed to regulate air release. The standard Buna-N seat is suitable for cold and hot water up to 180° F. Air Release Valves, sometimes referred to as "small orifice valves," are often fitted at the highest point on a pipeline to continually release unwanted air during system operation to protect against unwanted surges and maintain system efficiency.
American Iron and Steel and BABA compliant version available.
The Single Body Combination Air Valve is a two-valve assembly consisting of an air & vacuum valve and an air release valve. The combination allows the valve to exhaust large amounts of air at start-up, to release small pockets of air while the system is running, and to prevent critical vacuum conditions during draining. The Kinetic feature prevents the valve from blowing shut before all the air is vented.
American Iron and Steel and BABA compliant version available.

Combination Air Valve
The Dual Body Combination Air Valve is a two-valve assembly consisting of an air & vacuum valve and an air release valve. The combination allows the valve to exhaust large amounts of air at start-up, to release small pockets of air while the system is running, and to prevent critical vacuum conditions during draining. The Kinetic feature prevents the valve from blowing shut before all the air is vented.

Single Body Combination Air Valve
The Wastewater Air Valve exhausts air and sewage gas from pressurized sewage systems or force mains. The valve’s elongated body minimizes aspiration and helps keep solids and debris from affecting operation. Air Release Valves, sometimes referred to as "small orifice valves," are often fitted at the highest point on a pipeline to continually release unwanted air during system operation to protect against unwanted surges and maintain system efficiency.
American Iron and Steel and BABA compliant version available.

What do Air Valves do?
Air Valves maintain system design efficiency and provide system protection. Protection is provided by exhausting and admitting air through the air valves during system operations including start-up, shutdown, and critical conditions such as power failures or line breaks. The exhausting and admitting of air during these conditions will reduce the potential for destructive surges and water hammer normally associated with uncontrolled air or a vacuum condition within the piping system.
High Performance Air Valves
Air/Vacuum Valves, often referred to as "large orifice valves", are used to allow large volumes of air to be exhausted from or admitted into a water pipeline as it is being filled or drained. When draining the pipeline, the float drops, allowing air to enter, preventing loss of pressure, possible pipeline collapse and damaging water column separation.
American Iron and Steel and BABA compliant version available.
Compound Lever Air Release Valve
A high performance combination air valve that efficiently vents air during pipeline filling, rapidly admits air during pipeline draining, and continually releases air pockets while the system is operational. Its simple design employs only two moving parts and its corrosion resistant stainless steel construction provides long term reliable operation.
